2012 Topps Baseball Series 1 - Albert Pujols In His Angels Uniform

Earlier today, Topps released images of the first Albert Pujols and Jose Reyes base cards sporting their new team. The release date for 2012 Topps Baseball Series 1 is expected to be on February 1st.

I'm not really a fan of 'fake' cards of players in their new uniform before they've even played a game. Why not wait until Series 2 is released to start adding the players with their new team?

They do a great job making the card realistic. If you notice, they even used a Kansas City Royal base in the background to show that he's playing in an American League ballpark. The Cardinals played the Royals during 2011 Interleague.

Both cards will be short prints.
